Mark Weil -- Academy Director
Growing up as a young tennis player, I was inspired by a well known professional football coach of the time, Vince Lombardi ( American Football’s Super Bowl Champion’s Trophy is named “The Lombardi Trophy”). Coach Lombardi told his players on their first day of training: “Gentleman, we are going to relentlessly chase perfection, knowing full well we will not catch it, because nothing is perfect. But we are going to relentlessly chase it because in the process of chasing perfection, we will catch Excellence!”
Here at Weil, we expect our players to catch excellenceevery day. It is what makes our program and our environment at Weil so special for our young players—your extraordinary children.
