Weil Academy’s Yuki Chiang, who has been training at Weil since she was 8 years old with Head Coach Takeshi Ozaki, won her first big Junior title this past December by winning the 2009 Jr. Orange Bowl Girls 14s Singles Title with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over #1 seed and #1 ranked Brooke Austin in the final.

Yuki was unseeded and defeated several seeded players on her way to the title.

Weil has had several players reach the final of Jr. Orange Bowl including Sesil Karatancheva , Gail Brodsky and Grigor Dimitrov.

Yuki started the season well this year by winning the Southern California Sectionals Girls 14s Title in June and has been improving steadily through the year.
