WEIL'S ACADEMIC OPTIONS
The Weil Tennis Academy provides our players with the best academic options of any academy in the world. Every player at Weil is prepared to succeed at the appropriate collegiate level, if college tennis is their goal. If professional tennis is the goal, flexible weekly class schedules to allow maximum training opportunities, and independent study contracts allowing for extensive tournament travel, are available for each player. Every training day is coordinated and maximized with a player's academic schedule.
For International Students, we offer I-20 Student Visas for qualified students and classes through the Weil College Preparatory School (Grades 7-12) which is located on the campus of the Weil Tennis Academy. Weil College Prep offers our students a high quality, private school education which meets the needs of students who are not proficient in English and must take classes in ELL or Sheltered English. This allows our International Students to make a smoother transition to American University if that is their goal.
For U.S. students, Weil offers a high quality, diverse & accredited California public school education through the Ojai Unified School District (Nordhoff High School, Matilija Junior High School and Topa Topa Elementary School). All of these schools are designated distinguished California schools and are currently ranked in the Top 10 percent of all California public schools. Attendance at any of these 3 schools provides our students with many great features such as a flexible weekly schedule a wide selection of course offerings AP (Advanced Placement ) and Honors courses, and exclusive to each Weil student, a customized academic program to fit each player's needs. Independent study options are also offered through the high school program.
WEIL COLLEGE PREPARATORY SCHOOL 
The Weil College Preparatory School offers a high quality, private school education option for our US and International students (Grades 7 – 12) who want their child to learn in a smaller, more personal education environment. Small class sizes, more individualized schedules, a focus on English language learning and top College Placement, combined with a highly qualified teaching staff make Weil College Prep a great choice for your child. All of our courses are University of California approved for college credit. Weil College Prep’s flexibility with each student’s schedule allows our players to train and travel to continue their development as players while maintaining a quality education in preparation for enrollment into top US Universities like UCLA, UC Berkeley, Cornell, Yale and many more! Weil also offers Student Visas ( F-1) for our International Students that are valid for all years of study at Weil.
WEIL COLLEGE PREPARTORY STATS:
- Over 300 graduates placed in top US Universities on scholarship including UCLA, Cornell, Brown, Stanford, UC Berkeley, and many more.
- All courses are approved by the University of California A-G list for college credit.
- Students attend Classes on Weil Academy Campus from 8am to 12:30pm Monday through Friday.
- Short term independent study contracts are available for Weil players who must travel to National and International Tournaments that fall on school days. These contracts must be approved by the Associate Director of Tennis and the School Administrator.
- Boarding students are required to attend monitored study halls Sunday through Thursday nights on the Weil Campus.
- Additional tutoring support can be purchased. Weil School Administrator assists families in choosing available tutors for their child.

I-20 Student Visa's are available for qualified international students. International students are enrolled in Weil College Preparatory School and must complete a full curriculum of academic and tennis-training courses for graduation.
The Student Visa is a grant of permission to enter the country. The U.S. entrance requirements are as follows:
- You must be in good health.
- You must be able to support yourself financially through family funds.
- You intend to leave the U.S. after your studies are complete.
- You must be law-abiding.

OJAI UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
This program is designed for U.S. students who we feel will benefit from the traditional classroom setting and students desiring to take a greater selection of Honors and AP Courses.
- Students attend Nordhoff High School or Matilija Jr. High School for 4 periods each morning M-F from 7:40 AM to 12:10 PM.
- The one remaining high school course unit may be earned through Nordhoff's Digital Curriculum Program, APEX. Each semester a course must be taken in order to earn enough credits for graduation in a four year period.
- All AP and Honors courses offered at Nordhoff periods 1-4 would be available to our players including AP English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Foreign Language and Fine Arts.
- School counselors monitor WTA students closely to ensure that they are successful in the academic program. Counselors are available for individual interview and are responsible for transcript analysis and schedule preparation.
- Short Term Independent Study Contracts are available for Weil players who must travel to National and International Tournaments that fall on school days. These must be approved by the Residential Director and Weil's Head Coach.
- Boarding students are required to attend monitored study halls Sunday through Thursday evenings on the Weil Campus. Additional tutoring support may be purchased. WTA will assist families in finding available tutors.

Accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, our academic program boasts a 100% graduation rate with all of our students going to higher education with a strong foundation for future success in college and in life. Below is a brief overview of the school:
