WEIL'S ACADEMIC OPTIONS
The Weil Tennis Academy provides our players with the best academic options of any academy in the world. Every player at Weil is prepared to succeed at the appropriate collegiate level, if college tennis is their goal. If professional tennis is the goal, flexible weekly class schedules to allow maximum training opportunities, and independent study contracts allowing for extensive tournament travel, are available for each player. Every training day is coordinated and maximized with a player's academic schedule.
For U.S. students, Weil offers a high quality, diverse & accredited California public school education through the Ojai Unified School District (Nordhoff High School, Matilija Junior High School and Topa Topa Elementary School). All of these schools are designated distinguished California schools and are currently ranked in the Top 10 percent of all California public schools. Attendance at any of these 3 schools provides our students with many great features such as a flexible weekly schedule a wide selection of course offerings AP (Advanced Placement ) and Honors courses, and exclusive to each Weil student, a customized academic program to fit each player's needs.
For International Students, we offer I-20 Student Visas for qualified students and classes through the Weil College Preparatory School (Grades 5-12) which is located on the campus of the Weil Tennis Academy. Weil College Prep offers our students a high quality, accredited education which meets the needs of students who are not proficient in English and must take classes in ELL or Sheltered English. This allows our International Students to make a smoother transition to American University if that is their goal.
For students wanting an Independent study option, Laurel Springs Independent Study School is located here in Ojai and provides a private, accredited course list for grades K-12. LSS has both online and text based curriculums available for every student's needs.

This program is designed for U.S. students who we feel will benefit from the traditional classroom setting and students desiring to take a greater selection of Honors and AP Courses.

Weil College Preparatory School is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and is designed to provide a high quality private education for our International Students. Weil College Prep provides our international students a blend of traditional and independent study options for their educational experience as well as ELL classes for students not proficient in the English Language. Our classes are held on the campus of the Weil Tennis Academy.
I-20 Student Visa's are available for qualified international students. International students are enrolled in Weil College Preparatory School and must complete a full curriculum of academic and tennis-training courses for graduation.

LAUREL SPRINGS INDEPENDENT STUDY SCHOOL

LSS is a prestigious, world-renowned independent study program offering excellent web and text-based curriculum. LSS is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), as well as, the National Independent Study Accreditation Council (NISAC). LSS courses are articulated for the UC system and their students have been accepted at many prestigious colleges and universities around the world. Their program is ideal for those seeking individualized, nontraditional educations.
