Gail Brodsky wins 2008 US G18s Singles Hard Court Championships, Gains Wild Card into Women's US Open

Weil's Gail Brodsky stormed through the 2008 G18s US Hard Courts Championships this August beating Southern California's Coco Vandeweghe in the Singles Final 7-5, 6-2 to earn the Wild Card into the US Open Women's Main Draw. It was a crowning moment in Gail's junior career which has included major National and International Tournament Championships such as the 2007 G18s Easter Bowl, the 2003 G12s Eddie Herr, the 2004 G14s Teen Tennis Championship in London and a record 4 consecutive Ojai Tournament Titles.

Gail also received a Main Draw US Open Doubles Wild Card after she reached the G18s US Hard Courts Doubles Final with Mallory Cecil losing to Coco V. and her partner Jamie Hampton 6-4 in the 3rd set.

Gail had a great summer reaching the Quarterfinals of the Vancouver, BC Women's $50K Challenger the week before the US Hard Courts. Gail is now inside the Top 400 WTA and has a goal to be Top 200 WTA before the end of 2008.
