Over the past weekend five Juniors from The Weil Tennis Academy — Mana Koitabashi, Hazuki Ogino, Marc Hayashi, Nima Movassaghi, Stanislav Nepomnyashniy — along with assistant director of college placement Etienne Emanuel toured three Southern California College campuses. The group had a chance to meet five coaches and see four different teams compete. Friday they toured the campus of Azusa Pacific and met assistant Coach David Goodman then traveled to Whittier College in Los Angeles to see them take on the No.-15 ranked Division III team Redlands. The Men’s and Women’s head Coaches Quinn Calderon and Moises Cardenas greeted our players and gave a great tour. Saturday we got to see the campus and meet the Head Coach Geoff Roche of No. 15 Redlands as they had a doubleheader with Division III No. 22 Tufts University and No. 14 Williams College, both schools from Massachusetts.
